This is a small hotel. Our room was comfortable as was the bed. The air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well and were very quiet. The loo was a little manky with stains I guess from water deposits. The pool didn't look inviting. It was a little green and paint was coming off the floor. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very basic, but better than nothing. The location is ok - not in the centre which means it's quiet but it is a fair walk to the centre but it's flat and not bad.
Excellent stay. Id say at least 4 star quality at a very good value. Beautifully designed rooms, AC and other amenities worked perfectly, and beds re very comfortable. Location is great and hotel is clean - every staff member is super friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hotel Marionetas!! The room was clean, spacious, it felt like home. Close to popular live music bars, but they all close at 10 pm. Which for us, was perfect. We'd go out enjoy the music and come home to a quiet good night's sleep. 10-15 min walk to el Center, Paseo Montejo, and mercados. Free overnight street parking, which was perfect since we went on daily trips and needed a place for our rental car. The staff was always super kind and helped us with recommendations on places to visit. This hotel was perfect for our 11 day stay and we'll definitely be back.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean and comfertable. Breakfast was good. And they even prepared us a breakfast box to eat when we had an early tour, so we could eat on our tour. Wi-Fi very good. As Uber is not reliable compared with Mexico City, staying here is also great because it is walking distance from most of the places to see and eat. Mosquitoes were in each night, so preparation of bug spray or device to keep away mosquitoes might be good to have.
Beautiful rooms, clean, luxurious and ours came with a private terrace, dropped bath, even a hammock! The breakfast was delicious and the inside courtyard is gorgeous.
Cute boutique hotel in the middle of Merida. Breakfast was included and served by the pool, which was convenient and a great way to start the day. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Only issue was sorting out the hot water in the bathroom. We called the front desk and someone immediately came over to show us how to use it.
